  The Quilters Anonymous Guild's 45th Quilt Show will be held March 12-14, 2027 the Evergreen Fairgrounds in Monroe, Washington. It is the largest quilt show in western Washington, with more than 3,000 visitors projected to attend this three-day event. 

  The QA Show Program is a valuable opportunity to present your business to quilters and other sewing enthusiasts who want to purchase supplies and discover new resources. Many program advertisers include coupons or Show Specials with their advertisements for show attendees to use after the show, extending your customer reach well after the show ends. 

  Artwork for ads for the back cover  and inside covers must be submitted in color. Other ads may be submitted in either color or black and white. Sizes range from full pages to business card size. The back cover and the inside front and back covers sell out quickly, so you should sign up early if you want one of these.  See table below for all available ad options and prices:

  Payment must be made online at the time you register. You may register and pay without uploading your ad file. If you do not upload a file at the time of submission, you must send your file to the email below by December 31. If the ad is not submitted by this date, the submission will be canceled and your payment will be refunded minus $5.00 processing fee. 

  If the ad location/size you desire is unavailable, please contact us at the email below to be placed on the waiting list in the event there is a cancellation.

  File Submission Guidelines

  • Color setting/CMYK Profile = GRACoL 2013
  • Image resolution at 300 dpi when at 100% original size
  • If the ad bleeds, Include 1/8" bleed all sides
  • Back cover ad should have .125 bleed and page size set to 8.375 x 10.875
  • Do NOT send PDF as reader spreads or printer spreads.
  • PDF preset should be "Press Quality".  Do not send jpegs, tiffs or any other format.
  • If printing 4-color process (CMYK), convert all spot colors to process before exporting to PDF
  • Confirm that all fonts are embedded when exporting to PDF (or convert fonts to outlines)
  • Include bleed in PDF, but not trim or bleed marks

  We are so happy to welcome you to our quilt show! Whether you are returning after many successful years or new this time - we are so glad to have you be part of our show. 

  Thanks for completing the Merchant Mall Application. In your acceptance letter, you received a code necessary to complete your booth registration. 
  

  Important dates are:
  

  October 15, 2026	Registration and payment due
  March 10, 2027	Corner booths may begin setting up at 12:00
  March 11, 2027	Booth set up 8:00-5:00
  March 11, 2027	Preview Party at 6:30  (optional)
  March 12-13, 2027	Quilt Show  10:00-5:00  (merchants may enter after 8:00)
  March 14, 2027	Quilt Show  10:00-4:00   (merchants may enter after 8:00)
  March 14, 2027	Booth take down begins at 4:00 (must be completed by 7:00)

  Registration is completed online by clicking this link and then the green button to the left. During registration you will be required to enter your registration code. We will also need to know the following: 

  • Will you do a demonstration at the show (it doesn't need to be finalized now, but sign up take advantage of this offer).
  • Will you need tables and/or chairs? Tables are 8' x 30" and cost $10.00 each.  Please let us know if you need chairs (no cost).

  Payment must be made by October 15 to confirm your participation in the show. There is a nonrefundable registration fee of $40 included in your payment. All cancellations prior to January 31 receive a refund of the fee minus the registration fee of $40. After January 31, the fee (minus the registration fee) will be refunded only if a comparable replacement merchant is found.

  Payment by credit card online is available or you may request an invoice and send a check to the designated address. If payment is not received within two weeks after registering, your registration will be canceled.  If you have any difficulty with registration email merchantmall@quiltersanonymous.org. Information about booth location and important details will be sent in January.

  As a reminder, all merchants will have a listing of the name of their company on our public website quiltersanonymous.org for no less than four months.  

  The Preview Party on Thursday evening before the show is a special time for our members. We have a potluck dinner and enjoy the show without attendees. You are welcome to open your booth for sales at this time, and if you do so, 2 of your employees may join us for the potluck dinner, at our expense. Please let us know if you will be doing this.

  Demonstrations are a fun part of our quilt show. Giving a demonstration at the show provides you a wonderful opportunity to present a new product, show the use of a favorite tool, or present an interesting technique. Please indicate on your registration form if you are interested in presenting a demonstration. For more information about demonstrations please email quiltshowinfo@quiltersanonymous.org.

  Workshop: Material Matrix--this is a 2-day workshop on both Thursday, Oct 15th and Friday, Oct 16th

  My technique, "Material Matrix", is inspired by the painter, Chuck Close. It involves using a gridded photograph and interpreting each 2-inch square into fabric, using piecing to achieve the effect.  My lecture, "Material Matrix and the Paths Taken", is an overview of the evolution of Material Matrix and how it works.  In the workshop, in addition to the technique, I teach: what makes a good photo to use, color and value, curved-piecing, and how to grid your own photo. Everyone in the class will work on "Wake Up Cup"

  Workshop: Tips and Tricks for Needle-Turn Applique

  This workshop is a relaxed day of slow stitching with needle-turn applique.  You will lean how to complete even complicated applique without marking your background fabric.  This workshop is appropriate for novice as well as experienced hand sewing enthusiasts.  You will learn techniques for transferring the pattern to fabric as well as tips for smooth needle-turn applique.

  Workshop: Turned Edge Machine Applique

  Join David for this workshop as he teaches his turned edge, layered, machine applique technique using freezer paper templates, liquid starch, and nylon invisible thread.  Students need to have a sewing machine with "adjustable blind hem stitch" capability.  $30 kit fee includes pattern, freezer paper, prewashed fabrics, machine needle, and YLI Wonder Invisible thread.

  Workshop: "Creating with Cool Stuff"

  Join Linda and see what you can create as you experiment with cool stuff that will enable you to create waterfalls, fire, trees, clouds, streams, and abstract art! You will learn what to do with painted & fused Steam a Seam II Lite, foil and foil glue, Tyvek, Puff Paint, iridescent cracked ice, fabric paints, melted painted cellophane, Mistyfuse, Lutradur, metallic paint powders, Shiva paint sticks, Fiber Etch, Angelina and Tintzl fibers and more.  You do not need a machine for this one-day class, and everyone goes home with the scene pinned and ready to quilt.

  Workshop: Stepladder with Robin O'Neil

  This is an improvisational workshop- we will make samples of 10 different units using scissors and a sewing machine. We won’t be using templates or patterns or pins. The fun part about this is NO fretting because I set a timer for 20 minutes when we start each unit. No time to worry about what colors go together or making things line up or points being perfect! It’s a roller coaster of experimenting!

  Ready to take your quilts to the next level with gorgeous, intentional color choices — and then actually use them? This full-day workshop takes you from discovery to creation, combining the art of color design with hands-on sewing so you leave with both a custom palette and a finished project to show for it. 

  
  

  In the morning, we'll dig into where to find inspiration (hello, Pinterest!), learning how to use keywords to uncover the colors and themes you're naturally drawn to. We'll explore the basics of color theory in a simple, fun way using tools like Coolors.co to create your very own color palettes. Then we'll dive into how value and contrast can make or break a design, using digital tools like QuiltInk.com and Quilty Solid to test out your ideas before cutting into fabric. You'll walk away from the first half with an inspiration board full of ideas, custom palettes you love, and quilt mock-ups ready to go. 

  
  

  In the afternoon, we'll put those palettes to work! Using your newly created color combinations and a provided pattern, you'll sew a small project from fabric scraps — a hands-on way to see your color vision come to life in real fabric.   Workshop: "Iyanla, Raw Edge Appliqué Using African Fabrics" with Kena Dorsey

  This is a beginner-friendly workshop, that uses the "Iyanla" pattern to teach a fun and easy method of raw edge appliqué all while using African print fabrics! The pattern is included with the course.   This workshop is perfect for the quilter who would like to be guided through each step of the process for making this mini quilt, as well as giving the maker confidence to begin using African prints in quilt projects. Optional Kits are available from the instructor or you can use fabrics from your own stash.

  Workshop: "More Curves Fun" with Erin Grogan

  Join Erin and learn 3 different methods for sewing curves so students can discover the method that works best for them. We will also be sewing a block that has a curve within the curve! By the end of this class, students should complete one flower block, which makes for a great pillow or wall hanging. The students will have the skills and confidence to then make the bird blocks to complete the quilt. Each student must purchase the Apparrotly It’s A Party pattern. A discount code will be provided.

  Using a scrap of fabric as a “starter”, students learn how to create a unique free motion quilted quiltlette, step-by-step. A timid free motion quilter will gain confidence in this class. This is a great class for students with a little free motion quilting experience who want to learn to combine motifs and discover their own personal style. Various motifs and fills will be taught in class.
