"Making Magic, A Disappearing Block Sampler" w/Brita Nelson

This Workshop follows Barbara Brackman's Presentations' content related to historical quilts. Using 'traditional' blocks the 'Making Magic..." Workshop explores variations of these blocks. 

"This 6-hour Workshop will be structured like a "sew along". There are 9 blocks and I will teach each one in turn. I will demonstrate how to make the block, along with little tips on accurate piecing and pressing. Students will follow along and take turns showing the class how their block came out. The Zoom features allow me to answer questions immediately and help anyone who might be having a little trouble. As some Students finish before others, I will show other possible layouts and talk about things like how to enlarge the pattern, use different colors and how these blocks might look in a finished quilt."

                     (2) "Disappearing Block Samplers"

The two (2) "Disappearing Block Samplers" consists of nine different blocks; two disappearing 4-Patch blocks, two disappearing hourglass blocks, two disappearing pinwheel blocks, a disappearing 9-Patch, a disappearing shoo fly, and a double disappearing 9 patch.      

        (2) Quilt Samples using a single 'disappearing' block in a single quilt.
