Community Service Projects
Preemie Quilts
| Quilts are made for premature babies in the neonatal intensive care units (NICU) at UW Medical Center, Valley Medical Center, Evergreen Hospital, Swedish Hospital, and Swedish Issaquah Campus. 785 preemie quilts were delivered in 2023. Flannel burp cloths were also provided. The Preemie Project is QA’s longest running charity project, providing more than 24,700 preemie quilts since 1986. |
Quilted Comforts for Our Elderly
Quilts are made to provide comfort to elderly persons residing in Seattle area nursing homes. 427 quilts were delivered to fifteen nursing homes in 2023. Since 2007, more than 3,390 quilts have been provided. |

Evergreen Hospice Project
| Quilts and other gifts of comfort are made for patients of Evergreen Hospice. 126 quilts, 107 catheter bag covers, 42 pairs of fleece mittens, and 5 fleece blankets were delivered in 2023. Since 2007, more than 1,170 quilts, 1,290 catheter bag covers, 490 pairs of fleece mittens, and 400 fleece blankets have been provided. |
Operation Baby Love
Baby quilts are made for military families at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, where they are delivered to the New Parent Support Center and Fisher House. 148 baby quilts were delivered in 2023. Since 2006, more than 1,240 baby quilts have been provided. |

Christmas Stocking Project
| Christmas stockings are made for Atlantic Street Center, helping to bring holiday cheer to children in our community. 1,630 Christmas stockings were delivered in 2023. Since 2001, more than 27,800 Christmas stockings have been provided. |
Pillowcases for Fisher House
Pillowcases are made for military families at Fisher House, Joint Base Lewis-McChord at Madigan Army Medical Center. Fisher House provides comfort homes where military and veteran families can stay free of charge, while a loved one is in the hospital. 184 pillowcases were delivered in 2023. Since the start of this project, more than 3,490 pillowcases have been provided. |
