QA Quilt Show Docent Tour: Art of Machine Quilting |
Come early to the QA show on Saturday, March 15, 2025, and participate in a guided tour with Cathryn Scott focusing on the Art of Machine Quilting. Quilting has progressed over the years to an art form that can be as simple as the enhancement of a pieced quilt, to a custom masterpiece adding an additional element of depth to the quilt top. As we walk around viewing beautiful examples throughout the show, we will explore three main machine quilting styles. Whether you have your tops quilted by another or quilt your own tops on a moveable or stationary machine, you will hear many tips that will help you choose the best design, style and density of quilting that supports your final vision for your quilt. |
